At The JCB Academy, we use ParentPay to make managing academy payments simple, secure, and convenient. ParentPay allows parents and carers to pay for meals, transport, trips, and other items online—anytime, anywhere.

This system helps reduce the need for cash, improves security, and provides peace of mind with instant payment confirmation. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about ParentPay and how to get started.

We will send you an activation letter containing a temporary username and password to set up your ParentPay account. During activation, you’ll be guided to create a memorable username and password. If you have more than one child at The JCB Academy, you can merge accounts.

This letter will be sent once a confirmed place is offered to your child.

The JCB Academy can take card payments over the phone. Alternatively, you can make payments via your nearest PayPoint outlet (there are over 22,000 nationwide). Please contact us for more details.

If you would like a daily spend limit on your child’s account, please contact The JCB Academy Reception.

ParentPay accepts:

  • MasterCard and Visa credit cards
  • Maestro, Electron, Solo, and Visa debit cards

Yes. ParentPay uses leading technology to process transactions securely. All communication with the bank is encrypted, and neither ParentPay nor the academy has access to your card details.

Secure websites start with https (not http). You’ll also see a padlock icon on the login page and after logging in. Never enter card details on a page that does not start with https.

ParentPay holds only the information necessary to administer your account. It does not share your data with other organisations and operates under strict Data Protection Act 2018 guidelines.

ParentPay will never contact you asking for confidential details like passwords or card numbers. If you receive such a request, contact us immediately on 0845 257 5540.

Can I pay in instalments for trips?

Yes. ParentPay allows you to make instalment payments for many larger trips up until the due date.

What if I lose my login details?

If you forget your username or password, you can reset them using the ParentPay login page. Alternatively, contact The JCB Academy Finance Team for assistance.

Can I set a daily spending limit for my child?

Yes. Please contact The JCB Academy Reception, and we will be happy to arrange a daily spend limit on your child’s account.

What if I don’t have internet access?

You can make payments over the phone or via your nearest PayPoint outlet. Contact us for more details.

Is ParentPay secure?

Absolutely. ParentPay uses industry-leading encryption technology to process transactions securely. Neither the academy nor ParentPay has access to your card details.

Will ParentPay share my personal information?

No. ParentPay only holds the information necessary to manage your account and operates under strict Data Protection Act 2018 guidelines. Your data is never shared with third parties.
