An essential KPI (Key Performance Indicator) for the Academy is destinations. Many learners have gone on to secure great careers in industry, fulfilling the school’s mission statement.

Aiden Rogers

Aiden joined the sixth form in 2010 with a passion for engineering and quickly made his mark. His team won the prestigious IMechE Schools Aerospace Challenge, triumphing over a competitive shortlist that included several leading private schools.

Since then, Aiden has carved out an impressive career in the aerospace sector. By the age of 30, he was managing the Rolls-Royce Control Systems factory in Birmingham—an achievement that reflects both his technical expertise and leadership potential

Lewis Clarke

Lewis began his journey at sixth form with a clear ambition: to shape the future of automotive engineering. After completing a competitive degree apprenticeship with Bentley Motors Ltd, he became an exterior design engineer—bringing creativity and precision to one of the world’s most iconic luxury brands.

His talent and drive quickly propelled him further. Lewis was appointed Technical Advisor to the Board Member for Research and Development, contributing to strategic decisions at the highest level of innovation. Along the way, he earned the Volkswagen Group’s prestigious Best Apprentice award, a testament to his excellence and impact.

Hannah Adams

Hannah discovered her passion for STEM during her time at The JCB Academy and sixth form, where her curiosity and drive for scientific exploration began to flourish. Her academic journey led her to the University of Cambridge, where she pursued a PhD in organic chemistry—delving into cutting-edge research with real-world impact.

Her dedication and innovation were recognised with the Young Chemist of the Year award, celebrating her contributions to the field and her potential as a future leader in science.

Holly Broadhurst

Holly’s journey began at The JCB Academy, where she laid the foundation for a career that blends technical expertise with people-focused leadership. She qualified through the Level 4 Engineering Higher Apprentice scheme and quickly rose through the ranks to become an Engineering HR Business Partner at JCB.

Her standout moment? Winning National Apprentice of the Year—a prestigious recognition of her dedication, skill, and impact within the engineering sector.
