Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG)

For Years 9–13

At The JCB Academy, careers education plays a vital role in preparing learners for life beyond school—and we like to think we do it exceptionally well, thanks to the support of our employer partners!

Throughout the year, we deliver a comprehensive CEIAG programme that includes:

  • Employer engagement at open days and careers fairs
  • In-house careers events and talks from industry professionals
  • Work experience opportunities, starting with internal placements in Year 9 and progressing to external placements in Year 10 and beyond
  • Access to resources and guidance on careers and industry sectors
  • Individual support from our experienced Careers Leader and CEIAG Coordinators

Learners can also request one-to-one appointments or email support throughout the year.
